Could it be? Yeah it is!

A new Alien prequel film has been OK'd by Fox.

The Director:.....RIDLEY SCOTT!! Finally the series will get redemption.

It is set before the events of Alien so Sigourney Weaver will sadly not be in it, but from an interview she is OK with that since Ripley wouldn't have been around when this movie takes place.

As I always said "only two people can save the franchise: Ridley Scott and James Cameron."

Predator 3 will take place on a faraway planet. Robert Rodriquez is producing it and a newcomer to movies, Nimrod Antal will be directing it.

Arnold Schwarzenegger may do a cameo. The movie will be a direct sequel to the first film.

Aliens Vs. Predator the videogame for the PS3, 360, and PC will be released by Rebellion, the makers of the first AVP computer game and the AVP Atari Jaguar game. This is fantastic news. As of this writing the game is due in February 2010.

Finally Aliens: Colonial Marines is still on track. SEGA said it will come out after the AVP 3 game does. It will also be for the PS3, 360, and PC. It was described as "Aliens: The videogame" Also it takes place right after Alien 3. You control a squad of 4 colonial marines.

It looks like both franchises are going to be back to #1!
