This is the cover to a DCAU fan comic I am making. It is still a WIP so the colors aren't all correct and there is no shading yet.
In Batman Beyond, and event called "The Near Apocalypse of 09 was mentioned several times. Later it was mentioned in Justice League Unlimited episode named "Epilogue."
Apparently Batman's most dangerous enemy, Ra's Al Ghul, nearly destroys the world.
For those who do not know, Ra's is basically the ultimate Eco-Terrorist. He is over 600 years old. He resurrects himself by immersing his body in Lazarus Pits. I decided to team him up with another one of Batman's enemies, another Eco-Terrorist, Poison Ivy.
Basically this will be a story based off of Bruce Timm's/Paul Dinni's animated universe.
The character designs are as follows:
Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, Nightwing, Martian Manhunter, and the Flash are all drawn in The New Batman Adventures art style mixed with the Justice League style.
John Stewart is drawn in The New Batman Adventures style mixed with his original Justice League style too, but I used his face from the original JL, because I like that better than the goatee he had in JLU.
Ra's Al Ghul is drawn in his Batman The Animated Series style.
Poison Ivy is drawn in her TNBA style. This could change to her BTAS style though, if enough people want it.
I have not decided which style Commissioner Gordon, Alfred, The Joker, Harley Quinn, and a bunch of other characters will have. If anyone has any preferences, let me know!
Anyway please download for the full size! Made primarily using Adobe Illustrator CS2 and some Photoshop CS2.
I do not own any character in this story. They are property of DC comics, Warner Bros., and the universe is based off of Bruce Timm's and Paul Dinni's cartoons. I make no profit from this.
Awsome idea. I've often wondered what happened in that empty time space... now I suppose we'll get to hear your hypothisis! Anyway I vote for BTAS Ivy- though perhaps a bit more angular to match the rest of the charitor designs. For Gordon and them I cast my lot in with TNBA (though both my brothers prefer the old stlye Joker.)

Robin: So you say that you've invented a device that will end all war and crime in the universe? Batman: Yes, but we can't use it. Robin: Because it would somehow strip people of their free will? Batman: Worse. It has no place for the Bat-Emblem!
Some people have been asking me about this stuff so I decided to gather all information in one single article on how to make your own portfolio, in a profesional and clean looking way. I hope it's useful, because these steps I myself take.
DeviantArt is full of extremely well produced artistic fashion and fine art photographs. Make up. Styling. Creation of scenery. Story. Light. Glamour. A combination of these expressions sometimes make up a great photograph. But the protagonists of these pictures are usually female.
So... now it's the time for male models to come into focus.
How to make DA work for YOU! Taking an in-depth look at how to make deviantART work for you, and getting the most out of your user experience. How to get comments, watches, your work scene, commented on, critiqued, and what you have to do. These are some of the things which I have learned since joining more than 4 1/2 years ago.
`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
